Miniature Horses
Welcome to Kidd’s Stables, breeders of the
Ultimate Miniature Show Horses
At Kidd’s Stables we use only the best quality, well
bred, prize-winning show horses in our breeding programme. The result is the consistent production of top
quality miniature horses, proven by their success in the show ring. All of our young stock are by our Champion
Miniature Horse Stallion ‘Cavalier’ (pictured
below), out of our part falabella mares Nickel Silver and Tyrone Crystal.
For many years now, other Miniature Horse breeders
have used Cavalier to sire show quality youngsters and it is only over the last
four years that we have started breeding our own. To date, we have had outstanding success with
every foal growing into top quality, prize-winning yearlings, some of which are
detailed below.
Below is a photograph of ‘Ultimate Daisycutter’ at
Lurgan Show, led by Lesley-Ann Fowler, receiving her prize from judge Mrs Jane
Davenport-Lister, after winning the Yearling class in 2007. She was subsequently awarded the European
Miniature Horse Association (EMHA) National High Point Award (
Known
to her friends as ‘Honey’, this lovely filly was proven to be the best
miniature yearling on the show circuit in 2008, winning the yearling classes at
both Lurgan and Armagh Shows, against some strong competition. She was also successful at Saintfield Show,
and has qualified to attend the Royal International Horse Show at Hickstead in
2009.
Ultimate Free
Spirit
A full brother to Daisycutter, Free Spirit has
recently been sold to a family in Cavan to be used for stud. We wish him all
the best!
Ultimate Dun Doire Aingeal
A full
sister to Showgirl and Showstopper, this little filly is sure to be a success
in the show ring!
